The Summer Season opens with an all-new musical adaptation of Shakespeare's hilarious comedy featuring the music of the B-52's. The plot revolves around the impending nuptials of Theseus and Hippolyta, two society big-wigs, and the mixed-up love quadrangle caused by two sets of socialite lovers. Add in mythical post-60's pop band The Rustics, and madness ensues when all are washed ashore on a desert island inhabited by singing, dancing, mischief-causing fairies. (Purists will be glad to know that Shakespeare's text remains...)
