Tennessee Williams'
"A Streetcar Named Desire"
Directed by David Matheson
WITH
ZOE SWEET MICHAEL BRADLEY ....
ROCHELLE DOURIS ROB McKEE
MARLENE MATOS-JONES BARRETT MORRISON

Magnolia blossoms and classic jazz blend as we recreate old New Orleans in the tragedy considered to be Tennessee Williams' finest work. Williams described the war between Stanley and Blanche as "a symbol of the contest between genteel civility and crude lower-class vitality." The resulting stage-piece is darkly beautiful in every harrowing detail.
The production features some of Toronto's finest acting talents, including Zoe Sweet (Stella), Michael Bradley (Stanley), Rochelle Douris (Blanche) and Marlene Matos-Jones (Eunice).
